It stated that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be announced on Saturday, Feb 20. A commercial launch will then follow by next day and sales opening a week later after that.

Xiaomi fans are already excited to meet the latest smartphone especially since most of the details of the device were kept under wraps. Fortunately, a few leaks here and there are available, giving customers a heads-up on what may come along with the Mi 5.

According to Android Headlines, the device has been spotted on Geekbench and it revealed that it will come with Qualcomm's latest chipset, the Snapdragon 820. Phone Arena noted that Jiang confirmed this information through his Weibo account.
