The Rev. Franklin Graham, head of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and son of legendary evangelist Billy Graham, took to his Facebook page to offer condolences, describing Robertson as "a great friend to my father, to me, and to our ministries."

"Pat had an influence on me. I was always impressed with his boldness. He just spoke the truth and he was willing to take the heat," Graham stated. "I will miss Pat, but I know that I will see him again one day. I'm sure that his family would appreciate our prayers."

Graham quoted John 11:25-26: "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die."
