7 new faith-based movies, TV series to watch this Easter

Previously-released projects streaming this Easter

In addition to new releases, several previously-released faith-based movies and series are now streaming this Easter season.

Among them is “The Passion of the Christ,” Mel Gibson’s powerful depiction of Jesus’ crucifixion, on Wonder Project; and “King of Kings,” an animated film featuring Charles Dickens sharing the Gospel story with his young son, on Angel.

Others include Roma Downey and Mark Burnett's “The Bible" series, a sweeping overview of Scripture, on Wonder Project; “David,” an animated film dramatizing the life of King David, on Angel; and “The Young Messiah,” a fictionalized look at Jesus’ childhood, on Wonder Project.
