As Easter approaches, a growing slate of faith-based films and series is offering families meaningful ways to reflect on the season, from sweeping biblical dramas like “House of David” and historical stories of revival in “A Great Awakening” to lighthearted animated shows for younger viewers. 

Across theaters, streaming platforms and television, this year’s lineup highlights themes of redemption, Jesus’ sacrifice, legacy and the hope of the cross at the heart of the Easter message.
