6. 'The Lord’s Prayer' + 'The Sacred Thread' (Angel Studios, March 24)

This ambitious multi-platform project includes a feature film, companion book and a seven-part series unpacking the meaning and historical context of the Lord’s Prayer.

Designed to connect ancient Scripture to modern life, the series invites viewers into a deeper understanding of one of Christianity’s most foundational prayers. Through storytelling and teaching, it aims to help families engage Scripture.

As outlined in the description for “The Lord’s Prayer,” the film “journeys through the ancient world to explore the Lord’s Prayer in the places where Jesus first spoke it. Hosted by Brad Gray, with insights from theologian N. T. Wright and other scholars, it reveals each line as an invitation to live God’s kingdom in everyday life. Through vivid landscapes and thoughtful scholarship, it uncovers the cultural, historical and spiritual depth behind the prayer and invites viewers to rediscover its enduring power.”
