It is very easy to go back into time and relive moments that we aren't proud of. This is one of the biggest ways that Satan tries to get us -- by making us feel regret. Regret can be a very difficult thing to deal with, especially if this moment has changed our lives negatively.

The Bible has several different verses that help combat regret. There is no better place to look when you are in need than the word of God.

Below are 7 Bible verses that can help you with the struggle of regret:

Philippians 3:13 - "Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

1 John 1:9 - "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

1 Peter 5:8 - "Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour."

Psalm 34:4-5 - "I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed."

2 Corinthians 7:10 - "For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death."

2 Timothy 4:7 - "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

Proverbs 15:13 - "A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed."
