Justice Nathalie Lieven of the Court of Protection ruled last Friday that an abortion would be in the 22-week pregnant woman's best interests, even though she wants to keep her baby.

After global outrage at the decision, A Court of Appeal panel of three judges overturned Lieven's decision on Monday. The judges stated that they would give their official reasons for overturning the decision at a later date.

Pro-life activist Obianuju Ekeocha wrote, “This case exposes how far the tyranny of the abortion regime extends. In a society that has decided the unborn have no rights, the worth and life of the unborn are determined by the most powerful.”

Donations to 'religion' declined $2 billion in 2018 after years of growth.

The Giving USA Foundation released its 2019 annual report and found that giving to houses of worship, denominational bodies and religious television and radio declined in 2018 after years of growth as individual Americans donated about $3 billion less than they did in 2017.

The report notes several possible reasons for the decline: The Trump tax cuts led to fewer Americans deducting charitable donations, numerous scandals and upheavals involving religious institutions, a decline in religious attendance, and a rocky stock market at the end of 2018.

First-ever female voiced audio Bible brings hope to thousands of incarcerated women.

Ann White's Courage for Life released the first-ever audio version of the New Testament voiced entirely by women and it's already being implemented in prison systems in the country.

White told The Christian Post that many of the women she encounters have experienced trauma at the hands of a male.

"Sometimes, simply hearing a man’s voice is a subconscious trigger. That’s why it’s important to use gender-specific treatment,” she said.

Internet preachers rise as more worshipers migrate online.

With more than 800,000 Facebook followers, internet preacher Marcus Rogers has an audience that's much greater than popular established churches like Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church.

In an interview with The Christian Post, Rogers said, “I am just a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody who can save anybody! His name is Jesus."

Christians should be cautious, however. Some internet preachers are like wolves in sheep's clothing.

“I see a lot of other people and you can see that their heart isn’t in it for the people. They do videos because either they’re trying to make money or because they want the likes or shares or validation and it doesn’t come across as genuine,” Rogers said.

PC(USA) will ordain first-ever openly nonbinary clergy candidate.

The PCUSA Presbytery of the James will ordain Jess Cook, who identifies as a nonbinary individual, at a ceremony scheduled to take place on June 29 at Ginter Park Presbyterian Church in Richmond.

PCUSA is the largest Presbyterian denomination in the United States and over the past several years has become increasingly liberal. In 2010 it allowed presbyteries to ordain non-celibate homosexuals and in 2015 changed their definition of marriage from "a man and a woman" to "two people, traditionally a man and a woman."
