Dearborn, Michigan is known to have a large Muslim and Middle Eastern community. One meme circulating social media claims to show a mosque sign calling for the killing of infidels.

Politifact investigated the matter and rated it "Pants on Fire," noting that the sign was created via a website named "Church Sign Maker."

"We searched for a group called Advancement of Islamic Agenda for America on the Web and found no trace of it. More importantly, the sign comes from a template on the website Church Sign Maker," explained Politifact.

"Some notable text on the main page of the Church Sign Maker page: 'Note: these church signs aren't real, they don't exist in the real world.'"
