2016 Chevrolet Camaro News: Camaro Makes It to This Year's List of Most Googled Cars

The car industry has left many dreaming, given many a whole new experience in driving, and allowed some to obtain the most efficient and powerful cars that have ever made it to the market.

Every year, Google releases its Year in Search and included in the list are cars that Google users have been looking into for the entire year. According to Speed Lux, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is 2015's fourth most browsed auto, while the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu made it to the top spot, while the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado was the most browsed truck.

While the Camaro is only at fourth, it was still able to beat dozens of other autos that were unveiled by the world's most-acclaimed automakers. Aside from the fact that it was able to make it to the top 10, it has also largely become a hot topic in debates concerning the best cars unveiled in the year.

Last year's line of Camaros featured much taller and heavier autos, while the 2016 versions are shorter, narrower, lower, and lighter, but still, they offer a more improved performance and efficiency in several aspects.

Those who went crazy over the 2015 model might think at first sight that the new model is no different than its predecessor. However, a look into the details will reveal that the 2016 model is something that fans who opt for performance will adore.

With a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine, which allows for 455 horsepower, drivers are able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4 seconds. If integrated with the new 8-speed automatic transmission, the car can cover a fourth of a mile in just 12.3 seconds. The figures are best fit for sporty riders who want a smooth ride in the highway.

As for pricing, the 201 Camaro starts at around $37,295 in the United States. Prices vary for the 1LT convertible, with a tag price starting at $33,695.
