3 things to know about the allegations that Kristi Noem's husband had a secret online life
3. Bryon Noem reportedly entered a Christian rehabilitation program
In January, Bryon Noem enrolled in a Christian rehabilitation program called Pure Desire Ministries to address his sexual behavior, according to messages shared by media personality Megyn Kelly and reported by multiple outlets.
The 56-year-old reportedly told a woman he had been communicating with that he was entering a program.
“I’m entering a therapy program. Much needed and much overdue. 40 days,” the message said.
On its website, Pure Desire Ministries says its mission is to “provide hope, freedom, and healing from compulsive sexual behavior and betrayal trauma through Jesus Christ.”
In response to an inquiry from The Christian Post, a spokesperson for Pure Desire Ministries said the organization cannot discuss whether individuals have participated in its programs.
“We have helped 10’s of 1,000’s of men and women find hope, healing and freedom from compulsive sexual behaviors and from the betrayal a spouse feels,” the spokesperson said.
A source told The New York Post that Bryon Noem did not complete the program.
