3 things to know about the allegations that Kristi Noem's husband had a secret online life

  1. Bryon Noem allegedly told a dominatrix he wanted to be a woman

Bryon Noem’s relationship with dominatrix Shy Sotomayor, also known as Raelynn Riley, began in 2016 when she was 21, according to an exclusive report from the Daily Mail.

The woman shared recordings and messages with the outlet, which confirmed the phone number used belonged to Bryon Noem.

Noem reportedly paid Sotomayor $15 per minute to chat with her. According to her account, the two communicated sporadically over five years.

In a Jan. 11 text message, the 56-year-old allegedly wrote, “I want to be a Crystal so bad. I want to be a woman so bad.” He also reportedly expressed interest in cosmetic procedures and hormone therapy to appear more feminine.

Sotomayor said he appeared to enjoy being controlled and that she met his emotional and intellectual needs. She also said he liked hearing about other married clients who were “bored with their wives.”

She said she later discovered his identity by searching his phone number and post office box.

In one message reportedly from November, Sotomayor wrote, “F— your family,” to which he allegedly replied, “Love that.”

She said their last contact was March 22, when he requested a call and she declined.

“I needed to set some boundaries and just take care of myself,” she told the Daily Mail.

Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly also discussed the report on her podcast.
