4 major ballot measure results from the 2026 midterm elections: Voter ID, abortion and protecting girls' sports

While the 2026 midterm elections proved disastrous for Republicans, who appear on track to lose dozens of seats in the U.S. House, several Senate seats and multiple governorships, ballot measures across the country offered victories for both parties seeking to advance their priorities.
