4 potential replacements for Sen. Lindsey Graham's Senate seat after his death

1. U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson
On Sunday, Republican Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., told NewsNation that she heard South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster is likely to name Rep. Joe Wilson as the interim replacement.
“I’ve heard it’s Congressman Joe Wilson, but I think that the media reports are still verifying that,” Mace said. “He’s the father of the next Governor of South Carolina. He’s the senior leader of our delegation, having the most seniority out of all of us in Congress.”
In a Sunday X post, Wilson said that he had spoken with President Donald Trump, and they reminisced about the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, whom Wilson described as the pair’s “mutual friend.”
“I assured him my goal is to remain in the House to keep his two-vote majority for the American people!!!” Wilson said about his talk with Trump.
