4 potential replacements for Sen. Lindsey Graham's Senate seat after his death

4. Darline Graham Nordone

President Donald Trump recommended that the governor appoint Graham’s sister, Darline Graham Nordone, to serve in the lawmaker’s seat, noting the siblings’ close bond.

“I recommended, to Governor Henry McMaster, Lindsey Graham’s wonderful sister, Darline, to serve as interim Senator from the Great State of South Carolina. This would be a fabulous tribute to Lindsey, who loved her dearly!” Trump wrote in a Monday post on Truth Social.

Graham became his sister’s legal guardian after their parents died within 15 months of each other, CNN reported.
