3. Ballout’s criminal history 

The Berlin Public Prosecutor’s Office released a statement on Sunday detailing Ballout’s criminal record.

In February 2022, Abdul Ballout was convicted in Germany of assault and robbery and issued a juvenile court order. 

“Abdul B. was found guilty of assaulting a victim in the schoolyard of a Berlin high school in September 2019. He was also convicted of robbing a victim of a pair of headphones in October 2020 at Innsbrucker Platz, together with an accomplice,” the statement reads. “The verdict is final. The court order has since been fulfilled.”
