Movies about Christmas romance are among the most popular films during the holidays. In the Netflix film "Christmas in the Smokies" Christian values are a vital part of the romantic drama about a country woman fighting to save her family's farm when an ex-boyfriend from 20 years ago returns.

While biblical references are not overt in the film, there are subtle references to "Christ the Lord" and "heavenly host" along with biblical values of love and forgiveness that is sure to inspire viewers.
