5 faith-filled, family-friendly movies streaming this fall

1. 'Beyond Belief' — Angel Studios, streaming now
Set in the 1980s and featuring the music of legendary Christian rock band Petra, “Beyond Belief” follows Andy, an aspiring teenage rock star grieving his father's death, as his life takes an unexpected turn when he hears a mysterious voice telling him to “run.”
The experience launches Andy on a journey that challenges his ambitions, tests his faith and forces him to consider whether God might have a different plan for his life. The film began streaming worldwide exclusively on Angel Studios on Oct. 1.
Carson Lueders, who stars as Andy, previously told The Christian Post that the film’s message about identity, mistakes and trusting God is one that will resonate with young people.
“I think one of the main themes that resonated with me was just that you don't always have to have life figured out,” Lueders told CP. “Sometimes your mistakes are just setbacks. They don't define who you are forever.”
“A lot of times we just have to trust the journey of what steps God has for you,” he added. “Sometimes it's easy to step back and just say, ‘What am I doing here?’ But then you realize that everything does happen for a reason, and these certain seasons of your life are ultimately growing character.”
The film also introduces Petra’s music to a younger generation, with Lueders performing updated versions of the band’s songs along with original music.
“I love their music,” Lueders told CP. “I understand why they were so popular, and they've had such a positive impact on a lot of people.”
