‘Unprecedented’: 5 reactions to the leaked Supreme Court draft majority opinion overturning Roe v. Wade

Catholics for Choice President Jamie L. Manson released a statement in response to the leaked opinion, saying that “if true” it would be “unprecedented and shocking.”

“The alleged decision, decimating 50 years of the court’s own opinions, is an affront to our nation’s judicial process and devastating to the people whose lives are jeopardized by the court’s actions,” claimed Manson.

“The time is now for the silent majority of pro-choice Catholics and former Catholics to be outspoken and emboldened in their support for abortion access for those who choose it.”
