Texas Right to Life, a pro-life organization that successfully lobbied for the state’s heartbeat abortion ban, released a statement expressing concern and hope over the leaked document.

In a statement, the group wondered aloud if the “unprecedented” leak “could have been an attempt to intimidate the justices into preserving Roe.”

“Pro-Life advocates must continue to pray, especially for the justices’ fortitude, until the court officially issues a decision,” said Texas Right to Life.

“If Roe is overturned, the issue of abortion would be decided by each state legislature. Texas would immediately protect all preborn children from elective abortion.”
