Christie calls Vivek 'the most obnoxious blowhard in America'

Christie and Ramaswamy clashed over the ongoing war in Ukraine. Christie claimed Ramaswamy's "reasonable peace deal" would "give [Russia] all the land they've already stolen, promise [Russian President Vladimir] Putin you'll never put Ukraine in Russia and then trust Putin not to have a relationship with China."

As Ramaswamy attempted to dispute Christie's depiction of his foreign policy positions, the former New Jersey governor shouted, "Don't interrupt me." Christie portrayed Ramaswamy's debate strategy: "You go out on the stump and you say something, all of us see it on video, we confront you on the debate stage, you say you didn't say it and then you back away."

When Ramaswamy offered to elaborate on what he said," Christie retorted, "I'm not done yet." After continued crosstalk, Christie proclaimed, "This is the fourth debate … that you would be voted in the first 20 minutes as the most obnoxious blowhard in America" before telling his fellow presidential hopeful to "shut up."

In response to Ramaswamy calling Haley's foreign policy experience into question, Christie defended Haley as a "smart, accomplished woman" and told the entrepreneur to "stop insulting her."

Ramaswamy brought up the "Bridgegate" scandal from Christie's time as New Jersey governor when depicting his "version of foreign policy experience" as "closing a bridge from New Jersey to New York."

"Do everybody a favor. Just walk yourself off that stage, enjoy a nice meal and get the Hell out of this race," Ramaswamy said. He chastised both Haley and Christie as "toxic neocons," adding, "You can put lipstick on a Dick Cheney, it is still a fascist neocon."
