'Make me a Channel of Your Peace'

Based on the famous prayer attributed to Saint Francis of Assisi, “Make me a Channel of Your Peace” was composed by Sebastian Temple and published in the 1960s.

Frieich Wiesner of Old Time Music wrote last month that the song “has captivated the hearts of many through its enduring message of love, peace, and selflessness” and is “a beloved anthem for those seeking solace and guidance.”

“With each verse, the lyrics of ‘Make Me a Channel of Your Peace’ beautifully outline the path to inner peace and understanding,” wrote Wiesner.

“The song’s verses emphasize the importance of spreading love, forgiveness, and light in a world that often feels bleak. Through its powerful message, the song reminds listeners of the profound impact one can have by being a source of positivity and compassion.”
