Worship leader Sean Feucht, who launched his "Let Us Worship" movement in the streets of major cities during the COVID-19 pandemic, published a series of posts on X on Thursday expressing his dissatisfaction with the new Catholic Church leader.

"Absolutely not thrilled with the selection here guys," Feucht wrote as he published screenshots of then-Cardinal Prevost sharing posts critical of the Trump administration's immigration policies and rhetoric used by Trump during his first presidential campaign.

Feucht remarked, "This feels like Woke Pope 2.0," referring to a common criticism of the late Pope Francis.

"This is all a very calculated move, people. IT IS TIME TO WAKE UP!" Feucht suggested in another post. "They chose a globalist and woke Pope from the West ON PURPOSE to stand up and criticize the leaders of the Free World."

"Follow Jesus," Feucht proclaimed in another post. "Do not follow a woke, Marxist, globalist and progressive new Pope."
