'Action Heroine Cheer Fruits' Anime Spoilers: Heroines of Hinano City to Perform for the Last Time on Final Episode?

The final episode of the Japanese anime series "Action Heroine Cheer Fruits" is coming up, but so are some major changes that have the potential to break Misaki's heart.

The Cheer Fruits have managed to make it back to top ten after slipping all the way down to number 25 following a poorly executed performance. However, through the help of the people of Hinano City, they eventually realized that their goal was not to compare their success to the successes of other live-action heroines, but was instead to promote the values and beauty of their own city.

Last week's episode brought to their path yet another complication: the upcoming demolition of the Hinano Culture Center. As it turned out, they have been invited to perform there and be the last ones to do so on that stage before it gets torn down.

The idea of it brought Misaki's morale and motivation down. Not only because the demolition happens on her birthday, but because it has reminded her yet again of how her grandfather died on her special day several years ago.

It seems that something bad is always happening in Misaki's life on her birthday. But the Cheer Fruits are all determined to turn their final performance a success and are refusing to be brought down by the seemingly inevitable destruction of the cultural center.

Will the upcoming final episode titled "Passion ☆ Fruits" end on a sad and tragic note? Or will Misaki be able to find a way to match her girls' drive and motivation, and somehow find a way to save the culture center, and thus break the chain of bad fortunes on her birthday?

"Action Heroine Cheer Fruits" airs on Thursdays late night at 2:28 a.m. JST on TBS. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes are also available in North America via HIDIVE.
