In this commercial, the three characters are having a really bad day. The soccer referee, the marketing rep (or intern) and the bouncer are getting the worst their jobs can give, and we cringe because we've all been there before.

As our heroes return home, they probably feel like the lowest of the low, undeserving of any kindness or love. But as soon as they step in the house, they're reminded that some don't care about your accomplishments. They love you for who you are, and that can be powerful enough to turn around anyone's day.
