AI Bible shorts envision life with iPhone
1. 'What if Peter had an iPhone?'
The TikTok video from @theaibibleofficial, titled "What if Peter had an iPhone?" is a 29-second AI-generated clip imagining the Apostle Peter as a modern-day social media influencer. In the opening scene, Jesus is pictured walking on the water of the Sea of Galilee during a storm, as Peter turns to the camera in shock.
Another scene depicts Peter giving a thumbs-up as Jesus and others gather in the background following the resurrection of Lazarus, with a caption which reads, “He brought back Laz!” In a more somber-looking scene, Jesus’ disciples are gathered at the Last Supper as Peter holds a candle over the caption “Bro said the bread was his body … ”
The video also shows Peter and John racing to Jesus’ tomb after hearing about His Resurrection. “Someone said the tomb is empty, ain’t no way,” the video’s caption reads. It ends with a dazzling shot of the resurrected Christ on the water, as Peter marvels over a caption reading, “He is risen! This is insane.”
The video had nearly 200,000 likes and over 34,000 shares on TikTok as of Thursday.
