2. David and Goliath

Showcasing one of the potential disadvantages of using AI when dealing with the Scriptures, another AI Bible video depicts David being anointed by the prophet Samuel — who the video calls “Sam” — as the future king of Israel and playing his harp for King Saul.

Toward the end of the video, David is seen running with a stone in his hand while being chased by Goliath, with the caption, “What is this guy’s problem??” In the next part of the video, David stands over the defeated Goliath with a sword in his hand and asks his followers, “Should I chop his head off?”

The scene is inspired by a similar scene in 1 Samuel 17:51, when, after David defeats Goliath with a stone from his sling, he proceeds to cut off Goliath's head with Goliath's own sword.

Some commenters erroneously claimed the video suggested David killed Goliath with a sword, rather than referring to the scene in 1 Samuel 17:51.
