'American Horror Story: Cult' Episode 8 Rumors: Beverly Plans to Overthrow Kai
While it was thought that Kai (Evan Peters) had Beverly's (Adina Porter) support in his mission to gain power, reports claim that it is not the case as the female reporter seems to have a plan of her own in tonight's episode 8 of "American Horror Story: Cult."
According to spoiler reports, the promo for "American Horror Story: Cult" episode 8 suggests that Beverly may betray Kai as she is seen talking to Winter (Billie Lourd) and Ivy (Alison Pill) and explaining to them the need to cut off the head of the snake so that the army will not succeed. While she does not mention any name, it is suspected that her statement is in reference to Kai.
While it remains unclear if Beverly will really betray Kai, fans of the horror anthology series opine that it is not a remote possibility at all. With the previous episodes of "American Horror Story: Cult" showing that Kai's cult is expanding and is now dominated by men, it is totally understandable for Beverly to feel scorned by Kai's rise to power. With Kai now solely getting the respect of a leader, Beverly may be feel betrayed or insulted as well as, after all, Kai promised her earlier that they would share power.

However, some suspect that Winter may not agree to Beverly's plans as, to begin with, Kai is her brother. As seen on the promo, Beverly tries to talk Winter out of her belief that her brother will spare her, but Kai's younger sister will still defend his villainous brother.
Meanwhile, rumors claim that, while Kai fulfills his promises made during a pinky session, he eventually kills the person he has made a promise to after fulfilling them, such as in the case of Meadow (Leslie Grossman). To recall, while Kai took away Meadow's fears of never being loved and relevant again, she eventually died in Kai's hands.
