'Assassin's Creed Syndicate' Release Date, News: Ubisoft Unveils Details of Upcoming Game
Ubisoft's upcoming action-adventure video game "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" is finally unveiled and as what previous reports indicated, the new title will take players back to a Victorian-era London.
The press release (via Games & Guide) reveals an Oct. 23 release date for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. According to the site, the PC versions will follow "later in the fall."
A report from Kotaku meanwhile said that just like the previous games from the publishing house, ACS is already available for pre-orders which can be made through gaming retail house GameStop.
For those who pre-order, they will get bonus missions which would involve historical figures like Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens as well as the chance to get 10,000 worth of in-game credits.
"Pre-order Assassin's Creed Syndicate and receive the Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy Mission!"
"Embark on two pulse-quickening missions that will take you into the inner sanctums of London's most influential men. Defend Charles Darwin's discoveries from those who would kill to silence him. And help a friend of legendary writer Charles Dickens keep a secret that could get him killed," GameStop's description reads (via Kotaku).
Details for the contents of the vanilla version mentioned two primary twin characters, Jacob and Evie Frye, who are members of the world's "first organized crime family." Their adventures are set around the year of 1868 during the onset of the Industrial Revolution.
"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" will be up for sale at a standard price of $60. A "Gold" edition is also being sold at $90 which would include a season pass, the site went on to say.
