Attacks on pro-life groups, churches continue after DOJ arrests pro-life activists: list
CompassCare: Buffalo, New York
CompassCare, a network of pro-life pregnancy centers committed to “serving women in Buffalo and across NY State” and “erasing the need for abortion,” released a statement on March 16 announcing that its Buffalo office was vandalized early that morning, nine months after the facility was firebombed. Jane’s Revenge had previously taken credit for the June 7 attack.
Video footage shared by CompassCare Thursday shows a vandal spray-painting the word “Liars” on the facility’s sign. CompassCare is “asking for the community’s help in identifying the perpetrator.”
First Care Pregnancy Center: Minneapolis, Minnesota
New Life Family Services released a statement on March 4 announcing that “Our First Care center in the Phillips community of Minneapolis was targeted by pro-abortion activists and badly vandalized last night.” Photos and video footage of the vandalism reveal the phrases “Jane’s Revenge” and “if abortions [aren’t] safe neither are [you]” spray painted onto the side of the facility as well as the building’s windows. Additionally, several windows at the pregnancy center were broken.
As New Life Family Services Executive Director Tammy Kocher explained, “Our First Care centers provide 100,000 diapers, baby clothes, car seats, strollers, and other supplies every year to families in need. Our licensed social workers support more than 2,000 women each year through the challenges of motherhood, including many who are experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, or mental health crises.”
