'Avengers 4' Spoilers: Tony Stark to Return
While it is speculated that Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) will meet his demise in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" movie, it has been revealed that the iron-clad superhero will return for its sequel, the still unofficially titled "Avengers 4."
It is already a known fact that "Avengers: Infinity War" is the biggest gathering of Marvel superhero characters in one movie project. However, it is also expected that the movie will feature some deaths among the ranks of superheroes as they go against the movie's big bad, Thanos (Josh Brolin).
Among the many Marvel superhero characters suspected to die in "Avengers: Infinity War," though, there is no denying that Iron Man has been the loudest. However, it may not be the case as Downey, Jr. has recently revealed that his character is returning for the fourth "Avengers" movie.
However, as "Avengers 4" is likely to be a continuation of "Avengers: Infinity War," it is suspected that it will carry on the death scene of Tony Stark/Iron Man. As it has been reported that Ty Simpkins, the then young boy who played the role of Harley in "Iron Man 3," is also a part of "Avengers 4," some suspect that the character will return to the movie to pay his last respects to the man to whom he served as a sidekick in "Iron Man 3."
On the other hand, others speculate Downey's inclusion in "Avengers 4" may simply mean that Tony Stark would formally turn over the baton to Simpkin's Harley as the new iron-clad superhero as, after all, the young actor has been long rumored to be the next Iron Man.
Will Tony Stark really survive the events in "Avengers: Infinity War?" Will he return alive in "Avengers 4," or will just be featured in flashbacks? Will "Avengers 4" introduce Ty Simpkins as the new iron-clad superhero?
Find out when "Avengers: Infinity War" hits the theaters in May next year. "Avengers 4," on the other hand, is slated for a May 2019 release.
