Batman Arkham Knight News: Who Exactly is Arkham Knight? Game to Have Multiplayer Mode?

Rocksteady Studio's upcoming "Batman: Arkham Knight" has yet to see its worldwide release on June 2, 2015, but fans of the action-adventure video game franchise are still hankering for some news about the forthcoming title. Here's what we've heard so far.

Among the many questions raised about the game, the most talked about is the real identity of the Arkham Knight.

Arkham Knight is a new character that was created, in collaboration by Rocksteady and DC Comics, especially for the game.

With a metallic "A" branding on his chest, the Arkham Knight is deemed a very powerful, militarized, weapon-wielding version of the Dark Knight.

Movie Pilot, among other sites, posted their theories about the possible name behind the mask.

First, they said it's the Joker. The Joker is, by all definition, the greatest nemesis the Batman ever faced. Having him as the Arkham Knight "could prove a boon for the ending of Rocksteady's epic-Bat opera," the site said.

Then there's Hush, whose real name is Dr. Thomas Elliot. From the previous game title, it has been found out that the villain has a deep grudge against Bruce Wayne. In an Arkham City side mission, Identity Thief, he was seen creating chaos while bearing the face of Batman.

But the strongest bet falls on Azrael, who prophesized that along with the fall of Gotham, Batman "will burn too."

On other related news, Gameranx cited a YouTuber named CabooseXBL who explained the reports concerning a leaked PC demo and multiplayer gameplay released in the SteamDB.

He theorized that someone may have managed to hack into Steam and found a way to play the incomplete version of the game.

Other reason pointed out that maybe, it's actually one of Rocksteady's personnel going through the game live.

The multiplayer option issue leads to a series of photographs of three players playing the same game. The speculation suggests that like the Arkham Origin, Batman: Arkham Knight will have a multiplayer mode.
