At the moment both teams have already qualified for the knock out stages, with Bayern Munich currently top of Group D with five wins out of five games and a maximum 15 points.

Manchester City are only 3 points behind with 12 points from their four games, but can pull things back today with a big win.

In team news David Silva is available for Manchester City for the team's final Champions League group game, however they are without Yaya Toure and Gael Clichy.

Toure is suspended while Clichy (foot), Matija Nastasic and Stevan Jovetic (both calf injuries) have not travelled.

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed: "All the other players are available."

Pellegrini hopes Clichy will be fit for next weekend's home game against English Premier League leaders Arsenal though: "He has a problem with his foot. It's not serious. I think he will be OK for Saturday."

Pellegrini has indicated he might rest some of his players with England goalkeeper Joe Hart likely to play instead of Costel Pantilimon.

In the earlier group game between these two teams, Bayern Munich ran out 3-1 winners and most are prediucting a similar result this time around with the German side in amazing form.
