Beagles Who Grew Up in Laboratory Cages Feel Sun and Grass for the First Time (VIDEO)

Living up to their name, Beagle Freedom Project rescued nine beagles from a laboratory in Nevada. The dogs had spent their whole lives in cages as the subjects of lab and product testing. They had never seen the sun or run through grass.

This video captures the heartwarming moment when that changes. The dogs are understandably reluctant as their rescuers release them to play in a sunny yard. But their reactions will make you want to hug your dog, or at least a friend's.
