Aerobic exercise can aid in weight loss in two ways: it not only burns calories, it can also curb your cravings.

Researchers have found that people who ran or biked for 20 minutes three times per week for 10 weeks had reduced appetites from the workout sessions compared to when they were sedentary. It appears that aerobic exercise increases levels of neurotrophic factor, a protein in the brain that may suppress hunger. So grab the tennis shoes, and leave the chips behind!
