1. Flynn speaks for first time, urges daughters to ‘seek the Lord every day’

An emotional Flynn, who appeared in the courtroom wearing an orange jumpsuit as opposed to his standard outfit of a suit and tie during his trial, delivered a message to his young daughters: “I love you two, Alyssa and Ava, with absolutely everything inside of me. The day you both were born were days that forever changed my life for the better. I never knew that love this fierce was possible until the moment that I held you for the first time. You both are my greatest joy in this life.”

“Please know your daddy is so proud of you and loves you beyond what words can describe,” he added. “I have so many thoughts and dreams of raising you and seeing you grow up to be mighty women of God but unfortunately, I can’t.”

Flynn apologized to his daughters, assuring them “I dearly love you both.” He praised his daughters as “amazing and perfect in every way” and urged them to “seek the Lord every day.” Flynn expressed confidence that “Jesus will continue giving you exactly what you need.”

In addition to addressing his daughters, Flynn read aloud a message to his parents, who were present in the courtroom. He thanked them for their “constant and unwavering love,” adding “I feel blessed to call you mom and dad.” Both Flynn and his parents got emotional as Flynn read the letter.

“I love you guys with all my heart and hope you know I value and treasure you as much as I know how,” he said. “I know the Lord’s not done yet but thank you for walking with me on this journey.” Flynn also addressed his brother Adam, thanking him for his support and telling him: “Know the Lord has a plan for you. The Lord loves you and the Lord sees you.”
