The Mimi Foundation works with cancer patients to try and bring cheerful and happy memories to their lives as they go through their trials with illness. Their latest effort, the If Only for a Second Project, plays a little light hearted prank on these patients and captures their initial reactions on camera for them to share with family and friends.

"20 cancer patients participated in a unique makeover experience. They were invited to a studio. Their hair and makeup were completely redone. During the transformation, they were asked to keep their eyes shut. A photographer then immortalized the moment they opened their eyes. This discovery allowed them to forget their illness, IF ONLY FOR A SECOND," the description read.
