"I even cry during commercials!" is one thing people say to show they tend to get more emotional than the normal person. But the way advertising has gone these days, you'd be considered abnormal, unfeeling, cold to not cry at some of the gut-punching ads selling lingerie, detergent and, as in this Chevrolet commercial, cars.
It starts off with a young woman petting a quiet, old dog named Maddie. It's easy to miss, but they're in a treatment room at a veterinarian's clinic. Then the commercial goes to show just how much the pet means to her, ending with the line, "A best friend for life's journey." And then you dry your eyes.
