'Castle' Season 7 Spoilers, Cast News: 12th Precinct Goes Head-to-Head With 3XK and Kelly Nieman

Suspense and thrill are getting more intense as the final installment of the two-parter episode of the hit police procedural TV series "Castle" Season 7 airs tonight.

Titled "Reckoning," Castle (Nathan Fillion) will confront lethal partners Jerry Tyson (Michael Mosley) and Dr. Kelly Nieman (Annie Wersching) to find and rescue Beckett (Stana Katic).

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly (via Enstarz.com), the show's executive producer David Amann explained what Castle has to face to find Beckett.

"The paramount goal is finding Beckett," the showrunner said. "But in order to do that, having access to Tyson and Kelly Nieman is a big part of that because the overwhelming suspicion is they're behind this disappearance, so being able to confront Tyson and Nieman are very much things that they're trying to do, in the service of finding Beckett."

In a separate interview, Amann meanwhile informed TVLine about Beckett's new partner in a future episode.

As stated, the detective will be partnered with a "fellow femme who's even better at crimefighting than she is."

The episode, which is scheduled to air "sometime in March" will feature "Star Trek: Enterprise" alum Linda Park. She will play the role of a Hong Kong police officer that Beckett will work with "somewhat unwillingly."

Amann went on to describe the character named Inspector Zhang as "kind of like Beckett, except even better, so that puts Beckett in a bit of a tailspin, to be dealing with somebody who in her eyes is more accomplished and proficient."

For the meantime, "Castle" continues to air its Season 7 this Monday at 10 p.m. on ABC.
