'Castle' Season 7 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Castle's Routine P.I. Case Turns Deadly

Things will escalate from a routinely boring P.I. case to a deadly homicide one in the upcoming episode of the hit police-procedural TV drama series "Castle" Season 7.

Spoiler reports for this week's segment entitled "I, Witness" indicated that the life of P.I. Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) will be put in danger when during his snooping task he witnessed the gruesome murder of his client which was done by her husband. To make the matters worse, Castle couldn't file the case against the husband as he doesn't have any evidence about the crime.

According to the episode summary, Castle was hired to uncover the secrets behind the client's husband of whether he's having an affair or not. However, things went from a boring P.I. routine to a shocking murder case when he was able to witness firsthand that the client was being murdered by the husband.

With no proof to hold off against the killer, Castle and Beckett (Stana Katic) must do all their best to expose the truth.

Appearing as guest stars in this segment are Brianna Brown as Eva Whitfield and Ivan Sergie as husband Cole Whitfield.

On related news, Enstarz.com reported that fans of the Esposito (Jon Huertas) and Lanie (Tamala Jones) tandem should still keep their hopes up of the two being together.

Speaking with TVLine (via Enstarz), Jones clarified that no one is calling it quits.

"Oh, it's still going on. I grabbed his butt at the end of the [break-up] scene, and you don't do that if it's over over," Jones revealed. "We are still messing around, but we are not getting married."

"Castle" Season 7 episode 11 airs this Monday, Feb. 2, at 10 p.m. on ABC.
