Chad Ochocinco Receives Backlash From ESPN's Tedy Bruschi

After New England Patriot’s QB Tom Brady broke records to help his team beat Miami, wide receiver Chad Ochocinco’s reaction on Twitter seemed to upset ESPN analyst Tedy Bruschi.

“Just waking up after a late arrival, I've never seen a machine operate like that n person, to see video game numbers put up n person was WOW," Ochocinco Tweeted after the game.

According to Bruschi, the WR should be less of a fan and more of a force in the game, after only catching 14 yards on Monday night.

"You're not someone who's on another team or watching TV," Bruschi told WEEI sports radio. "You're not an analyst. You're a part of it. They want you to be a part of it. So get with the program because obviously you're not getting it and you're tweeting because you're saying, 'It's amazing to see'? It's amazing to see because you don't understand it. You still don't understand it and it's amazing to you because you can't get it.”

Despite the fact that five Patriots receivers outperformed Ochocinco in yards and receptions, Brady said he had faith one of the team’s newest acquisitions.

"Chad, from the day that he got here, he's worked really hard to be a part of this offense and be involved," Brady told the "Dennis & Callahan" show on Wednesday.

Bill Belichick, Patriots’ coach, said he is not focused on the issues people have with his WR and feels Ochocinco will be a vital piece on the team.

"I think all the players that participate in the game will have an important role, absolutely. It's not really my job to pad up individual statistics for any player on the team -- I'm not really interested in that," he said, according to ESPN. "The only statistic I care about is the final score, and that's what our goal is. I know everyone else wants to talk about and write about individual stats, what each individual's production is, but really I'm concerned about the team success. That's the way it'll always be."
