Champagne OnePlus X Release Date: Phone Now Available Without an Invite, Release Date for North America Revealed
OnePlus has good news for consumers who would like to buy its Champagne OnePlus X. The Chinese company has revealed that its newest smartphone can be bought without an invite, while those in the United States, Canada, and the rest of North America will be able to buy them soon.

People can buy the Champagne OnePlus X even without an invite. This has been confirmed by OnePlus last week.
"Do your happy dance – the #OnePlusX is now invite-free every Tuesday! Starts tomorrow," OnePlus tweeted on Dec. 14.
The company calls this "Tuesday Open Sales." The sale starts 4 p.m. PST and lasts for 24 hours or one day only. The sale is open to buyers from Hong Kong, Europe, and North America.
Champagne OnePlus X's release date in North America
OnePlus has announced another good news for its fans in the United States and Canada. The company has revealed that the smartphone is coming to those countries, as well as to the rest of North America.
"We will start selling Champagne in North America in January," said OnePlus in a blog post.
No specific date was given, though. There was also no news as to the availability of the Ceramic version in those territories as well.
The Champagne OnePlus X is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz and an Adreno 330 GPU. OnePlus has installed its OxygenOS based on Android 5.1.1 on this unit. The smartphone has 3 GB RAM and 16 GB memory, which is expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card. It is sustained by a 2,525 mAh LiPo battery and features a 13-megapixel camera at the back and an 8-megapixel camera in front. It also suppoots 1080p video.
Champagne OnePlus X has limited quantity available. OnePlus previously stated it only has 2,500 Champagne units up for sale. The Champagne OnePlus X is also available in Onyx black glass.
