Chris Brown Accused of Assault After Show at Anaheim Night Club

A 24-year-old women is accusing Chris Brown of assaulting her inside an Orange County nightclub Saturday night. Brown has yet to comment publicly on the accusations.

Officials stated that Deanna Gines named Chris Brown in a police report after being injured at the night club, according to entertainment website TMZ.

Gines was reportedly in the VIP section with Brown at Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim where the R&B star had just performed. When the club was set to close, she claims Brown shoved her to the ground, causing her to hit the ground hard.

Gines claimed to have gone to the hospital where she discovered that she had torn ligaments in her right knee which may require surgery.

"I'm unaware of the incident, as is Chris' lawyer and his entire team. He was in a great mood after Powerhouse," Nicole Perna, Brown's representative, said in a statement. "None of this makes sense."

Chris Brown recently opened up about his infamous 2009 domestic assault against Rihanna, describing it as his "biggest" regret. The R&B artist revealed that the couple is now "very happy."

The pair split shortly after the incident, which left Rihanna's face battered and bruised, and critics still struggle to forgive the singer after seeing photos of the Bajan singer's face. Brown, however, says that her forgiveness is all that matters.

"Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals," Brown told The Daily Mirror. "That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake."

In January, Rihanna confirmed that she and Brown had reconciled despite public pleas and objections from fans for the singer to steer clear of him. The couple broke up shortly after.

"She loves me what can I say? I'm forgiven … but, yes, I worked hard for it," Brown said at the time.
