Christian High School Sophomore Arrested When It Turns Out She's a 34-Year-Old Impostor (VIDEO)

Credit :

Tamica Lincoln met 15-year-old Charite Stevens in March 2013. After hearing how the teen had been abused by her now-deceased father after her mother died, Lincoln took her into her home. In October, Lincoln helped Charite enroll at New Life Christian School in Longview, Tex. as a sophomore.

It's a feel-good story that ended up being a lie.

It turns out Charite is actually Charity Anne Johnson, a 34-year-old with an unknown past. She tricked Lincoln into taking her in and fooled the staff at New Life by claiming she was homeschooled with no transcripts. The truth was discovered after she was arrested during an incident at an apartment complex.

Hear what Tamica Lincoln said about the impostor she took into her home in this KLTV report.
