Shooter self-identified as transgender; pastor's daughter killed

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said he and his wife were praying for those impacted by the shooting, 

“Heidi and I are praying for the entire Nashville community right now. May God's comfort be with the Covenant School in the wake of this evil atrocity,” he wrote.
