'Shameful': Pastors, Christian leaders react to activists storming So. Baptist church in Minnesota

Paula White-Cain, senior advisor to the White House Faith Office

Calling it “a day we must remember,” Paula White-Cain, senior advisor to the White House Faith Office, urged Christians across the U.S. to “never sit back complacent” after Sunday’s incident.

“This is a day we MUST remember and NEVER sit back complacent!! THEY WENT INTO A CHURCH WHERE PEOPLE WERE WORSHIPPING IN THEIR SACRED ASSEMBLY!” White-Cain said in an X post Sunday.

White-Cain is also the president and founder of the National Faith Advisory Board, which put out its own statement to “condemn the actions of Don Lemon and the group of activists who stormed Cities Church” and urged “Christians everywhere [to] demand that the Department of Justice arrest those who participated.

“We must protect religious liberty in this country,” the group added.
