Tony Perkins, a Southern Baptist minister and president of the prominent Washington-based Christian conservative activist organization Family Research Council, reflected on his organization's role in crafting the Tennessee legislation upheld by the Supreme Court in an X post Wednesday.

Calling the ruling a "huge victory for kids," Perkins highlighted how FRC's "SAFE Act (Save Adolescents From Experimentation) model has been used by many states."

"We are very encouraged to see this SAFE Act-type of legislation win at the Supreme Court," Perkins wrote.
