2. 32-Y-O Pastor, Gospel Singer Shawn Jones, Dies While Singing 'Worthy Is He'
Shawn Jones, a gospel singer and founding pastor of New Thing Empowerment Church, collapsed and died in November during a performance in Pensacola, Florida. He was 32.
Jones and his band were performing "Worthy Is He" when Jones started having trouble.

Kenneth Woodson, manager of The Event Center, described to CP: "I guess the young man got hot. He took some water and he drank some more water (for a second time), sat down and was speaking and he passed out."
While his cause of death was not released, Jones had revealed earlier that he was hospitalized due to a heart-related illness. And instead of taking time off to rest, he chose to continue with his intense ministry schedule.
Some extended family members said the minister suffered a fatal stroke.
