Crime Doesn't Pay...and Cannot Read: Burglar Foiled Trying to Pull Open Unlocked Door Marked 'Push' (VIDEO)

In this security footage from early last Friday, a would-be thief breaks into the temporary warming vestibule in front of Shambles Bar in trendy Wicker Park, Chicago. At this hour, no one is there to stop the criminal from taking whatever he wants. His last obstacle is the front door's lock, which he quickly destroys.

Correction: His last obstacle is pushing open the now unlocked door, conveniently marked with a large and prominent "PUSH" sign.

Instead, the bad guy pulls and pulls...but nothing! He puts his weight into it and the door bends, but doesn't break. After the struggle, and unable to simply push the unlocked door open, the would-be thief admits defeat, gives up and leaves.
