'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Season 9 Spoilers: Will Larry Like Sammi's Fiance?

This Sunday on "Curb Your Enthusiasm," Larry David, who plays a character based on himself, will jump start his failed relationships and will be off to a bad start with Sammi's fiance.

As revealed in the synopsis of the upcoming episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" season 9, titled "Thank You for Your Service," Larry tries to start fresh with his mail carrier as well as the security guard from the golf club. And he might also try to reach out to Sammi Green's (Ashely Holloway) fiancé, who he might have wronged in some way or another.

Elsewhere next episode, Sammi's fiancé, a war veteran, will be introduced to the show. Both Jeff Greene (Jeff Garlin) and Susie Greene (Susie Essman) like the guy but Larry not so much.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Jeff Schaffer was asked about the prominent fatwa that seemingly ties the current season together.

Schaffer admitted that one arc will permeate throughout the season and should effect nearly every episode. They ended up planting more seeds for future episode than the usual.

That one arc aside, there are a number of things to look forward to this season, Sammi's marriage, the threat looming on Larry and more.

"There are other big things in the works, too," the exec admitted. "Sammi Greene is engaged to be married, where is that going to go? Jeff and Susie have now bought a house and are in way over their head, Larry's life is still in danger. We're not dropping any of these big threads. We're still weaving them together to get to what we think is a pretty cool end."

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" season 9 episode 5, titled "Thank You for Your Service," airs on Sunday, Oct. 29 at 10:10 p.m. on HBO.
