Detroit Lions vs Atlanta Falcons Live Stream: Watch NFL 2014 Football Online (Fox TV Start Time, Preview)
The Detroit Lions will play the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday in Week 8 of the NFL 2014 regular season. The Lions are going strong so far this season, where as the Falcons are getting desperate and really need the won today if they are to maintain any hopes of making the postseason. Today's game takes place in London, England and has an earlier start time of 9.30 a.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on Fox, and can be watched online through live stream (details below).
The Falcons will be hoping that a complete change in venue, and even country, can inspire them to some better form. They come into Week 8 on 2-5, knowing they are running out of time to claw their way back into a position to compete for a Playoffs berth.
The one saving grace for the Falcons is that they seem to be in one of the weakest divisions in the league this season, with the Carolina Panthers managing to take top spot with just a .500 record of 3-3-1.
The New Orleans Saints are good for second spot in the NFC South with just a 2-4 record, meaning the Falcons' 2-5 gets them third spot. If they can just put together a good run then they could get back to within touching distance of the top spot and be competing with the Panthers in the final straight of the regular season.
The Lions meanwhile are in a much more competitive NFC North. They are joint top on 5-2 with the Green Bay Packers, and they will know they cannot afford any slip ups today against the Falcons if they want to ensure they keep the pressure up on the Packers.
